If you’re ready to invest in a large online store or a fully-customized website with complex functionality, consider our Premium Package (starting at $9000 and up) to future-proof your website for more rapid growth.
Our typical website process begins with a meeting with our client to really understand their current process and to figure out how our websites can streamline workflows and minimize pain points. Depending on which website package you go with, we then move into UX/SEO and keyword research. Once we have established that functional foundation for your site, we enter a design phase to really nail down the preferred look and feel for the site. After a set of full-color mockups have been approved by the client, we move to a development phase where we build a fully-functional site on our servers for the client to review in depth. Once the site has complete approval, we move into the final launch phase where we take your site live and turn over the keys to you!
Depending on the complexity and amount of content on your site, a typical website timeline can range from just a few weeks to 3-4 months. We provide estimated timelines for each of our projects before we start, as well as a list of deliverables needed from our clients at each phase to stay on track!
Yes, we LOVE when our clients decide to make us an ongoing part of their team with a support retainer! Many websites require regular updates for themes and plugins, and we like to keep these sites secure and functional by doing regular backups and updates for our clients. For clients that choose a support retainer package, we not only give your site the love it deserves, but you also get a discounted rate on any additional hourly services and you get VIP status in our support request queue. We can also do a la carte updates at a higher hourly rate, if the monthly commitment isnʻt for you!
Typically, the answer is yes! If we build your site from start to finish, we will ensure that we choose a website platform that can integrate with e-commerce or whatever third-party tools you require. We will try to help you anticipate the features and tools that your website will need during the discovery process so that we can guarantee a workable solution before we ever sign a contract. However, if you need us to integrate a third-party tool with an existing site, that would have to be examined on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, we offer SEO services! We consider our SEO services to be “foundational” – we can help with the keyword research and competitive analysis that you might need to figure out what you want to optimize for, and then we can integrate those keywords into the structure of your site to maximize your technical SEO. We can also help to optimize your on-page content (and can even assist with copywriting if you need additional optimized content!) and make recommendations to improve your off-site SEO. What we DON’T do is SEM – Google Adwords and other kinds of paid ads and pay-per-click marketing that can bring you more instant traffic if you’re willing to pay for it. SEO is more of a “slow and steady wins the race” strategy, but it’s really important to build that foundation

We ensure our websites are mobile-friendly and accessible by implementing flexible grid layouts that can be adjusted for different screen sizes, and by using a variety of programs to test the site in different environments, as well as to test the visual accessibility of the site (readability, contrast, functional spacing and sizing, etc.)

Depending on your website needs and budget, we will recommend either a content management system that comes with built-in hosting or various plans plan from reliable hosting platforms. Or you can sign up for an OCS-managed hosting plan, where we manage it all for you as part of a monthly support retainer!
Our Starter package does not come with any training or documentation, but our more customized packages like the Standard or Premium come with training documentation (and the Premium even comes with 1:1 video training!) Our packages don’t include ongoing support, but you can always sign up for a monthly support retainer with us or reach out to us for a la carte tasks at an hourly rate. We are here to help, from design to launch and beyond!
